Privacy Notice

This notice explains how RadLucent collects, uses, and protects any personal information you provide when using this website or contacting us.

Who we are

The data controller for this website is RadLucent, United Kingdom. RadLucent is the organisation responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is processed. If you have any questions about this notice or how your information is handled, please contact us via the Contact page.

What information we collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it by submitting the contact form on our Contact page. The information collected includes your name, work email address, organisation name, your area of interest, and any message you include. We do not collect personal data through advertising pixels or third-party tracking scripts. Our website does not use Google Analytics or any advertising technology. A platform-level analytics script provided by GoDaddy (our hosting provider) is loaded on all pages; this is described further in the Cookies section below.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry and to follow up on any conversation you initiate with us. The lawful basis for this processing under UK GDPR is our legitimate interest in communicating with individuals who have expressed an interest in RadLucent's work (Article 6(1)(f)), or, where you have clearly indicated consent by submitting the form, consent (Article 6(1)(a)). We will not use your information for unsolicited marketing, will not add you to any mailing list without your explicit agreement, and will not sell or share your information with third parties for their own purposes.

Third-party processors

This website is hosted on GoDaddy's Airo platform. Form submissions are transmitted via GoDaddy's infrastructure. GoDaddy acts as a data processor on our behalf and processes data only in accordance with our instructions. GoDaddy's own privacy policy is available at godaddy.com. GoDaddy also provides a platform-level analytics script (SCC/C2) that is loaded on all pages of this site; see the Cookies section for details. No other third-party processors receive your personal data as a result of using this website.

Data retention

We retain personal information submitted via the contact form only for as long as is necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up correspondence. Once a conversation has concluded and there is no ongoing reason to retain your details, we will delete them. If you would like your information deleted at any point, please contact us via the Contact page and we will action your request promptly.

Cookies

This website uses a platform-level analytics script provided by GoDaddy (SCC/C2). This script is loaded on all pages and, if you accept analytics cookies, collects anonymous data about how visitors interact with the site (such as which links and buttons are clicked). This information is used to understand site usage and improve content. No advertising cookies are set. No third-party advertising or tracking pixels are used. When you first visit the site, a cookie consent banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, click-event data is not collected, though the script itself is still loaded by the platform. Your preference is stored in your browser's local storage for up to 365 days. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

Your rights under UK GDPR

As a data subject under UK GDPR, you have the following rights: the right to access the personal data we hold about you; the right to have inaccurate data corrected; the right to have your data erased where there is no longer a lawful basis for processing it; the right to restrict processing in certain circumstances; the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests; and the right to data portability where processing is based on consent or contract. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via the Contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.

ICO registration

RadLucent is currently assessing its obligation to register with the Information Commissioner's Office. This notice will be updated once registration status has been confirmed.
