About RadLucent

Clinical insight and technology leadership focused on patients

RadLucent brings clinical insight and technical leadership to the challenges of imaging informatics. Founded by Christa Speer, the business combines specialist consultancy through RadLucent Advisory with the development of RadLucent Flow, a proposed tool for coordinating radiology workflow exceptions.

What we do

Healthcare technology works best when clinical understanding, technical expertise and operational delivery come together.

RadLucent Advisory supports organisations navigating imaging systems strategy, implementation, workflow improvement and service challenges.

Alongside this work, RadLucent is developing Flow to support operational problems such as  examinations that have reached a reporting provider but remain unavailable for reporting.

Both offerings share the same purpose: bringing clarity to complex imaging environments and helping teams move forward.

Founded by Christa Speer

Founder, RadLucent

Christa Speer is a healthcare technology leader with a background in diagnostic radiography and a career spanning imaging informatics and senior clinical systems leadership.

Working across complex imaging environments, she observed first-hand how operational failures in imaging workflows, fragmented communication, limited visibility, and the absence of coordinated exception management  contributed to delays that affected patients and placed additional burden on clinical and operational teams.

Christa founded RadLucent to bring this clinical and technical perspective to organisations through specialist consultancy and the development of practical tools for imaging operations.

A concept in development

RadLucent Flow is at the concept stage. We are actively seeking conversations with radiology operational teams, technical partners, and potential funders who share our commitment to safer, more reliable imaging pathways.
